Important Announcement for All Joomlawired.com Hosting Users: Time to Upgrade!

In a dynamic digital landscape, adapting to maintain top-tier and secure platforms is paramount. With this in mind, we're sharing pivotal changes regarding Joomla support.

  1. Support for anything 'lower' than Joomla 3 will cease in November 2023
    If your website is operating on a version before Joomla 3, the urgency to upgrade before this deadline cannot be overstated.

  2. Support for Joomla 3.9 and versions below will end in January 2024.
    If you're running on Joomla 3.9 or an older iteration, it's critical to consider an upgrade before this timeframe.

  3. Joomla 3.10x support will conclude in August 2024.
    This gives you ample opportunity to transition to a newer version, safeguarding both the functionality and security of your website.

You may have noticed that we have launched a new website! Read on for why we made the change and what our new features include.

After over a decade of serving Joomla customers with dedicated hosting solutions we thought it was time to revamp our brand and website to let our customers know how we plan to serve them for the next decade and beyond!

We began as a small plucky hosting company in 2004 with the birth of Joomla itself. Since then, web technologies and hosting requirements have changed considerably and we have been evolving to match our user's growing needs. Protecting PHP-FPM applications!

PHP-FPM (FastCGI Process Manager) is something we use to protect your system. It provides an easy way to run PHP scripts with different users on the same server.  It provides security because the PHP scripts are not run with the rights of the Super Administrator but with the rights of the account holder.

And because these rights are isolated to each account, someone outside (such as a hacker) cannot infiltrate your account through a vulnerability in someone else’s account, on the same shared server.
